![]() | Karmann SUCStudy from the chassis constructor Karmann which is intended to combine the advantages of a convertible with those of an off-road vehicle. SUC stands for Sports Utility Cabrio and a BMW X5 served as the basis. Four-seater with a lot of space for passengers and luggage. Some of the technology originates from the ancillary supplier ZF, e.g. the six-speed automatic transmission, the active steering, the rear axle differential or the electronic shock absorber system. The fully automatic fabric top with a vent roof comes from Karmann itself. Another interesting feature is the rear window which can be lowered into the rear door and is not integrated into the top. The doors which open in opposite directions are activated when the handles are touched. A 4.4-litre V8 engine with a power of 320 hp is located under the bonnet. [more] |
